Roadway Centerline & Stationing

The roadway centerline can be tangent, curved, or a combination of both.  The roadway stationing should increase from left to right.

Numbering of Wingwalls

Wingwall No. 1 is upper-right; Wingwall No. 2 lower-right; Wingwall No. 3 lower-left; Wingwall No.4 upper-left.

Wingwall Flare Angle

Can vary from 0 degrees to 90 degrees.  Negative angles, or angles larger than 90 may result in erroneous displays.

WIngwall Footing Dimensions

This software has a built-in database to "suggest" dimensions based on wall height and the allowable subsoil bearing pressure.  You may modify the suggested values by overwriting them in the input data file.

Culvert Reinforcing Details

 

Culverts can be either pre-cast or cast-in-place. The reinforcing pattern shown is per ASTM C 1433-03. Simply fill in the steel areas.
